Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of salvation in Christ, that we might know you and your heart. As you planned from the beginning to save man, let me today look ahead to see how I might prepare the moment to serve and share the Word with others. For the gospel is too precious to leave it to chance.

You are God, Highest above all, Sovereign who rules the universe, Creator of man and beast, Savior of those who believe. Let me never forget my place, O Lord.
