Dear God, I'm sitting here on my front porch watching the birth of spring. There is a thunderstorm brewing, which for some strange reason, I find comforting. I think because it reminds me of the way you are watching over our little planet to give us all we need to sustain life. Trouble is we humans are busy destroying some of the very things you gave us to support life. Forgive us our ignorance and greed. And our stupidity. Father God, you make it so peaceful when the flowers start blooming, and the robins start building nests and digging worms. I love it when their babies, nesting in the corner of my porch, reach up their little heads with mouths wide open. They are in complete trust and dependence on their parent to provide for and protect them. That's how I want to be with You Father. Not to remain a baby, but to have no worries because I know you will always be there to provide and protect. Thank you! Jehovah-Jireh.
