Let not our age pass by in vain,
Our days without your hand;
Make justice strong, let evil wane
Like time’s few grains of sand.
A dawning day let now be born,
A light to safely guide;
Where joy and peace and love adorn,
And righteous saints abide.
Look down upon us as we cry,
Bear fruit that will remain,
Fling out the gospel word and fly,
To multitudes be plain.
From house to house, in field and town,
Make nations hear your call,
This age to bow before your crown,
Confess God over all.
