For guiding shepherds, giving servants,
For little ones who love their neighbors,
For faithful saints who give no offense —
For these we offer thanks. Continue reading
Father of love and mercy, your name is holy as none other, your person far above the sinful human race, your glory seen in all creation and in your gracious intentions toward us.

Another day, another dawn
Of opportunity, old things
Have passed away; the passion of Christ
Enlivens the heart and lifts the spirit.
Praise belongs to the Prince of Peace,
Both honor and glory are yours, O God;
From sin you saved my wandering soul,
Salvation is mine, and victory’s assured.
Though freedoms are lost, and friends abandon,
With me remain the words of the Master,
With hope and peace as highest possessions,
The comfort of God my constant good.
Thank you, sovereign God, for making me a part of your plan, for putting your word in my mouth, for allowing me to participate in the grandest project of all time, the rescue and transformation of souls.
To think that through your plan of salvation we touch eternity and extend the reach of your reign into more and more lives is nothing short of amazing.
Help us to be worthy of your calling, dependent on your strength, faithful to your truth, deposited in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
In the midst of decay and death, O Lord of life, newness appears in the dawning day, the sprouting plant, and the baptized sinner to reset our sights toward eternity. For these subtle and powerful signs, we thank you, Creator and Recreator who inhabits abodes everlasting!
Lord, what Mary thought was a disaster when she found that the tomb was empty is for us the greatest success, the guarantee of our hope, the firstfruit of our own coming to life. Our tears flow, not from grief, but from joy, because our Savior lives, as does our ambition of seeing his face. Thank you for your power in him, your grace toward us.
Dear Father, we thank You that we can approach Your throne at any time from any place. Thank You, dear God, for having Your door and Your heart always open to Your children. May we never take for granted the blessed privilege that is ours to call upon Your Name. In the Name of Jesus who intercedes for us we pray, Amen. —Jeff A. Jenkins
Heavenly Father, thank you for making us into family, where love and concern rule, where brother takes care of brother, where your character appears in the features of each of your children. Thank you for this day together, around the table of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
