Believing Prayer

We Ask

We ask why, we ask when,
We ask what might have been,
But seldom do we ask of you
What we must do.

We ask for this, we ask for that,
The throne where Jesus sat —
From Jesus’ pain we shrink, we flee
From Calvary’s tree.

We do not ask, we ask amiss,
Denied, we stomp and hiss —
Help us repent, rekindle love —
Dear Lord, forgive!

I disabled it, since it was taking extra loading time. And also takes less space to get people to the comments and widgets.

Say amen. Ask for prayers. Give thanks.
