Believing Prayer

Weakness you do not despise

Praise to you, O God, for welcoming your children into your presence at any hour of the day. Thank you for accepting your people before you.

Sin and wickedness you refuse to look upon, but weakness you do not despise. You honor the humble, but bring down the proud. You raise up the meek, but destroy the arrogant.

Man restricts access to the powerful, but you open your gates freely to the needy.

Glory, honor, and praise belong to you for your kindness to all!
